The Peninsula Shoreline Protection Taskforce Needs Your Support!

(Please visit Flooding & Factory Point for more information)

Our Mission:

This group is dedicated to preserving White Marsh and all of the City of Hampton Wetlands and the Wildlife that inhabit them.  White Marsh, Grandview Beach, Grandview Nature Preserve and Factory Point are enjoyed by hundreds of families each weekend and Long Creek is our local Watermen's livelihood.  Wetlands are nature's sponges during storms, they provide flood protection to many areas throughout the City of Hampton.  This natural buffer and treasure must be protected!

What's Going On?
There is a builder trying to build in White Marsh.  Development of White Marsh could increase flooding in Foxhill, Grandview and the Buckroe area and could ruin the habitat for our beautiful wildlife - once it's done, it cannot be reversed.   If you are one of the many fishermen, boaters and families who have enjoyed Grandview Beach and Factory Point for decades, then please support our efforts in preventing further building in and around Hampton's Wetlands.
