PSPT Needs YOU to attend the City of Hampton's Council Meetings - stand up and speak and ask the City "Why Hasn't the Factory Point Restoration Begun?"  Especially since the City Manager stated in September that the funds have been appropriated for the project.

PSPT Meeting October 2, 2008:  Where are we with regard to moving forward with the Factory Point Restoration?  Our Hampton City Manager stated that the money was appropriated for the restoration and that they were awaiting permits.  LAFB's First Fighter Wing was also looking into their flooding problems.

Update:  The nor'easter on September 25 has further reduced the remaining spit at Factory Point to just a mound of sand... grasses no longer exist and Floods Hole is dangerously close to breaching.

Time is of the essence!!

The flooding from this breach very much affects Fox Hill and Grandview in addition to the Back River communities.
